ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

We only use regenerated GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified cashmere. This means that
  • We are using what is on this planet already and not producing new materials
  • By using natural fibre such as cashmere, our sweaters are naturally decompostable.
  • No animals are harmed in the making of our clothes
By creating luxurious beautiful clothes from recycled cashmere, OF is showing that a different, low waste, low environmental impact system is possible. What’s more, all of our packaging is sustainable, from the recycled cardboard swing tag to the naturally biodegradable & compostable mailbag to the recycled & recyclable garment bag.
Regenerated cashmere means an overall environmental impact 80% lower than regular cashmere.
Our revitalized cashmere uses:

OUR SUPPLIERS

We care about who produces your clothes. Our re-engineered cashmere yarn is sourced from a family-run mill in Tuscany that has been operating for over 50 years. Each sweater is hand-crafted in Scotland by an independent artisan knitter committed to sustainability throughout the production process. Finally, every piece is then embroidered by hand in a female-led atelier in Geneva. OF’s small-scale limited runs of sweaters embody a luxe alternative to fast fashion and ensure that our production is less wasteful and more exclusive.

Socially Conscious

We believe in working together to create a just world where women and girls have the same opportunities as men and boys. To this day, women and girls have not yet achieved parity in areas such as equal pay, freedom from physical and sexual abuse, and access to education. Our sweaters' slogans champion and celebrate women. Officine Feminine is proud to support charities which work towards ensuring equal rights for women and girls.

Our clothes are made by experienced craftspeople and using the highest quality fibres, so they last longer. OF uses three-ply cashmere which means our sweaters are soft, warm and strong. The high density of the fibres means they are supremely soft and light when worn against your skin and they will retain their shape when cared for correctly. OF sweaters are made to last.
